After a lot of planning and development, we’re so excited to be able to share our new website with you!
Some new features to enjoy:
Improved Design – we have redesigned the whole site to reflect our refreshed branding, providing a brighter look with more accessible colours and fonts. The site is also easier to navigate and has been organized in a more user-friendly way.
Events Calendar & Updates – we have a new space to visit that will provide up-to-date info about programs, services, and events happening at the clinic. You can use the calendar and filter by program to see what’s going on at Mount Carmel Clinic’s sites on any given day, and read our updates for more info about announcements and events.
Social Stream – see what’s happening on our social media streams all in one location! Our social media profiles are the best place to find updates from the clinic including photos, posters, and announcements. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to stay connected!
Take a look around and let us know what you think about our new website!
As the pandemic continues to unfold in Manitoba, masks have been made mandatory by the provincial government in all indoor public spaces, which includes all Mount Carmel Clinic sites. This creates a challenge for many community residents, as folks often don’t have the means to make or purchase masks for themselves and their families.
We want to do our best to provide masks to our participants, so we’re accepting donations of reusable or disposable masks from the community. If you have masks you want to donate, or supplies to make masks, such as fabric, elastic, or thread, please get in touch with us!
You can contact our Community Engagement Coordinator, Claire Friesen, at email@example.com or (204) 589-9418.
The pandemic has been an ongoing challenge for everyone around the world. Here at Mount Carmel Clinic, we are doing our best to keep our community and staff safe during this time by adapting our services to follow provincial guidelines and restrictions as they evolve.
In order to keep the public aware of changes at the clinic, we have dedicated a page on our website for advisories, updates and information about changes happening at the clinic due to COVID-19. You can click the red COVID-19 banner on our homepage to access it, and we will keep it as up-to-date as possible to make sure you’re aware of any changes.

The Province of Manitoba has made masks mandatory in all indoor public spaces. In order to comply with these restrictions, Mount Carmel Clinic is now requiring all visitors and staff to wear masks in all buildings, including 886 Main Street, 888 Main Street, Sage House, ACT, Anne Ross Day Nursery, and the Mothering Project space.
We recognize that purchasing or making masks is not possible for everyone, so we are doing our best to collect donations from the community in order to provide masks to our participants as much as possible. If you are visiting the clinic and do not have a mask, please let a staff member know.
Our x-ray department will be closing temporarily as of October 30, 2020, in order to allow for renovations and equipment upgrades to take place. This means we will unable to provide x-ray imaging services to patients, even with a referral, until the department reopens.
There are several other options for x-ray clinics to visit in the surrounding area, including:
- Seven Oaks X-Ray Clinic – 1750 Main St
- Parkview Medical – 2110 Main St
- Health Sciences Centre – 820 Sherbrook St
- Manitoba Clinic (basement) – 790 Sherbrook St
- Winnipeg Clinic (basement) – 425 St Mary Ave
- McIvor X-Ray Clinic – 13-1795 Henderson Hwy
The closure is anticipated to last approximately two months, but that may be subject to change. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
